Unit Battler-Kooky
I managed to talk the team over at K Entertainment into making an EE Unit Battler to give us something to spend our weekends doing while we wait for the real thing. The Battler will take the information we have on the units so far, and allow you to fight them against each other, you can even select whole armies to beat the bejesus out of each other. We're also looking into an online database of custom made armies for you to fight against. Anyway check them out for more information.

Today is a good day to...-Kooky
Well certainly not die =) I found my tech tree =) It had fallen down the back of my radiator when I hung it on the wall. There's a really cool scanner in college so I'm going to see if I can get any kind of better quality pictures.

Rant-Kooky
I wrote a small rant. You can read it here. It's titled 'Why Sierra Has Not". It's an insightful look at the lack of smack.

EE@E3-Kooky
Robbed this from EENC. While Stainless Steel Studios wont be making the trip to the Electronic Entertainment Expo., it's publisher, Sierra, will be.  They'll be sharing booth 1146 with the likes of Havas, Blizzard and ... Knowledge Adventure =) Mmmm, sounds like some good learnin'. Anyway if you can

Poll Results & New Question-Kooky
Well, I think this poll has been up for long enough. I can't remember what the percentages were anymore, but you can see it's almist a ration of 1:3. Nobody was upset by the fact that sierra got the deal, which is a plus. Anyway, the question now is which TV celebrity would you most like to see in the game? I have been talking personally with Rick Goodman, and he says we get to pick one. Lies Lies Lies!

Joke-Kooky
I laughed so much I cried, I cried so much I laughed. It's a vicious circle.

A drunk staggers out of a bar and sees a nun walking by. He immediately tears into her. He punches her in the face and kicks her to the ground until she is left there groaning.
As he turns to walk away, he looks back at her and says "Not so tough now, are we batman!"

Oh my ovaries =)

Jigsaws!!!-Kooky
Check out the latest edition to the EE Shack by heading over to the jigsaws page. You can try and put ol' humpty dumpty mech warrior back together this week. With a new jigsaw every week this is the hottest EE thing yet! Jigsaws Page.

Work-Kooky
Doesn't work just suck? I have a part-time job working in a supermarket. The thing that annoys me most about my job are 35+ year old women. They think the own the fire trucking shop and if you're ever walking behind them they're so slow and because they walk in the middle of the isle you can't get past them. I think someday I'll have to bring a gun into work =)

Music-Kooky
The following thread is in the forum:

I think the music should match whatever age you are in. Let's say your in the neolithic age, there would be tribal toms, and big drums. As you advance, let's say to the Bronze Age, you begin to hear harps and flutes. By Renaissance you will be hearing Baroque. In the Industrial Age, you'll be hearing classical. In the Futuristic Ages you will be hearing Hard Trance and Techno. -Borschty

I agree that the music should change epoch to epoch, however, a few things have to be taken into consideration. CD quality music for each epoch might take up to much space, so instead MP3 could be used. I know that Age Of Kings used a whole lot of MP3 in the game.  Also, I hate trance and techno music. Personally I don't feel that that's the music of the future, maybe if there was like a futuristic/mystic kind of theme song. -Kooky

trance and techno is the music of the future. 'nuff said  -Borschty

HAH! I don't think so. I mean, if we all break out the rapid tunes what's going to happen to rock, punk and soul. Plus the fact that the majority of songs have no lyrics blows! =)

Staff-Kooky
I'm looking for about 5-10 people to work on this site. We mostly need people who are interested in news reporting. That also involves reading over the forums and talking about topics from them. If there's no news, make some! I want to get a real team spirit thing going, so, the more the merrier. Experience isn't a necessity. Anyway, if you're interested, e-mail me at tails@oceanfree.net.

Poll-Kooky
There's a new poll up on the left of the page. Go vote! My personal opinion is that, Sierra, back in 1997, made some of the worst blunders in the gaming industry, releasing unfinished games, games with bad gameplay, etc. However they are getting their act together, and they seem to be doing very well lately, they even have on of the best game companies, Blizzard, under their wings. So, I voted Yes.
